COTE DE FER, HAITI,(Sept. 16, 2008) An aerial photograph of flooding caused by Hurricane Ike. The amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) is providing disaster relief support to Haiti after a series of hurricanes struck the nation. America's contribution to relief efforts is being coordinated by the United States Agency for International Development and its Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance.
